This painting was the work that allowed me to fully understand a painter's approach. It allowed me to understand how to define objects with brushstrokes, and to understand where subjects should be sharp or smooth. This proved to be the biggest challenge for me along with mixing the right colors to get the correct hue. Below are the references used for the making of this piece.
